On February 2, the North Pole was melting. And earlier there was a sharp increase in a number of gases and aerosols -- all except methane, which you might expect. At least some scientists are expeting a sudden explosion of the vast methane deposits in the Arctic ocean bed. They call this the “Methane time bomb.”
